I'm prepared to give him another 8 games.

It's far to early to speculate about Sam. Let's wait till the end of the season. Personally I reckon a 1 year extension is on the cards but that is my own view and certainly not a claim to know what is going on.

D - tell him if he has another job he can go now

In fact just fuck off now whether you have or haven't got a genuine offer.

It would be foolish to be blackmailed into considering a new contract at this stage of the season.

Re: The Allardyce dilemma...
Did he even want Valencia and Sakho?

All I can remember is David Gold freaking out at the realisation that no other club wanted any player Sam has brought to the club. It's people think the guy hasnt had more money to spend than any of our competitors.

When we went down he was expected to come up because along with Southampton we were the biggest spending club in that division. And he managed it through the play offs!!

When left to his own devices he fucks up. You need to micro manage him and be on his case to get the right stuff out of him.

And then the unforgivable "what the fuck is plan b?" situation he put us in last season was just crazy. The chairmen have basically rescued us, not Sam.

If we lose the next three come on here and ask the same question

Re: The Allardyce dilemma...
BFS has done everything asked of him including, more recently, getting the team to play exciting attacking football

The difference from past West Ham sides is that they now know how to dig in and hold to a winning position

I'm not convinced that the way we are now playing is entirely forced by the injuries of Nolan & Carroll

Both have a part to play I would think, though Nolan should no longer be starting games with the options available

I would give BFS another 2 year contract at least ~ with conditions!

B

We would be fucking mugs to get rid of him, as he's building one of the best squads I've ever seen here. I also like that he gets on well enough with the owners to take it on the chin when they sign someone he wasn't pushing for. He is enjoying Sakho's form and it's good he hasn't had a hissy fit.

I like Sam. A lot of my best mates have been arrogant geezers. Loads of old West Ham I got on with were like that. Cocky bastards who were never phased by bad names, or sticks and stones. He's a character, and the kind I reckon that could handle the big egos we may end up with if we carry on improving.

Allardyce is a cunt with his tippy tappy footballing bollocks!

Seriously, if our form continues then great, but I wanted him out recently as the football was dire. It's a tough call now to be honest.

Gold and Sullivan have copped a lot of unfair shit on here but we seem to be run in the right way these days and we're finally competing in the transfer market. They deserve more respect, but I've always thought that.

He will be here for 2 more years atleast.

The bigger issue is how many can still call James Tomkins, James TOPMKINS. Fucking gear grinder is that. Can you really be a real hammer if you don't even know our best defenders name?

Re: The Allardyce dilemma...
If we continue to play like we have been I don't think it's unfair to say that the lads voting "a" are a bit thick.

A vote after Christmas under the same circumstances is needed to confirm this.

I find his 5 yard sideway passing a bit tedious.

B.

First year promoted. The tompkins in midfield obsession cost us automatic promotion but he did turn around the club which was a sinking ship and achieved the goal of promotion at the first attempt, and was a great day at Wembley. Sucess.

Second season. Finished 10th. For me this was one of our best home form seasons since the Pardew team that first entered the premier league. Finishing 10th at the 1st attempt is definitely a Success.

Third season. Finished 13th (I think?). I broke and demanded changes to the mgt when we lost 5-0 at forest then 8-0 against City. Luckily for him our board held until the form in February changed and saved his bacon but Christ this was a shit season. This said he did just keep us up... despite playing players out of position e.g diame and ready to stick by nolan at all costs. Didnt fail but ee went backwards and laid serious question marks about his management position/style.

Fourth season. The change in style and level of performances have thus far been remarkable and we seem unrecognisable from last season. You have to give him credit for this... as much as I slammed him last season. The question remains, will he revert to type when noble, nolan, carroll return?? But there's so many variables like change in player form or injury, who knows what may happen But so far its a success.ful start to the season and arguably the most talented team team since the di canio days.

I think every manager is allowed one bad season so if things continue why change, give stability to the club and if he bombs just sack him anyways...in any case who's ready to step in?

Re: The Allardyce dilemma...
The Allardyce Carroll - Nolan obsession...plus his inability to sign a n effective striker is responsible for Boring Football...

Arko 9:25 Tue Oct 7
Re: The Allardyce dilemma...
Don't think Noble should be considered as responsible for boring football at West Ham...
